It's me! As a star trek character! Drawn for the livejournal community ontd_startrek... they've invited everyone to draw themselves in a Star Trek uniform and then someone's gonna put it all together in a giant collage thing.
This was fun! I spent a really long time on it, but I knew I would. I'm quite proud of it considering I never draw, and I'm not sure that I've ever seriously tried to draw a person before. I spent a lot of time getting up and posing in front of the mirror and then sitting down again.  Oh, and this is the uniform from the 2009 movie... just like Uhura's, only blue, because I like blue better (and I have no idea in what capacity I would serve on a starship - apparently science/medical). Outlines drawn w/mechanical pencil, colour added in Paint.net. Edit: Uploaded new version that has less scanner-crap on it.  |
